HOW TO MAKE MYSELF LOOK MORE EMO/GOTHIC/ROCK CHICK?

Hiiiiiii,
I was wondering if any one had any ideas on how to have myself look some-more emo/gothic/rock chick.. I have brownish-red eyes and ivory skin but im not authorised to color my hair from Brown and im a bit chunky.. lol.

I have the clothes.. Kind of the makeup a little jewelery but thats about it. =/
I have a crap braid (Long with a side fringe/bangs) but dont wish one which takes aaages to style..
I infrequently wear spike polish but propagandize doesn't concede it, so i look crap there too.. lol
